The purpose of this role is to manage a range of administrative, financial support and human resource services for Projects, Planning and IT and administrative support to the broader directorate.
The successful applicant will constantly be striving for business improvement and will possess the technical skill and expertise to work in a dynamic team.
The role assists team members and senior staff, maintains and updates reports and templates and prepares correspondence as required.

As the Administration Officer, AO3 you will:
• Provide accurate and timely information to management and staff on a range of administrative matters including human resource management, financial management, general administration skills.
• Coordinate, prepare and track correspondence, reports, ministerial responses and briefing notes and apply a high standard of word processing skills using a range of Microsoft Office applications
• Use departmental databases and information systems to manage accurate records, produce reports and statistical information. Manage office assets including phones, laptops, motor vehicles and office and field equipment.
• Identify areas of operational improvement and assist in devising and implementing solutions to improve efficiency including the development of effective work practices and procedures.
• Communicate and liaise with staff of all levels and with external clients as required.
• Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
