About Us:
At the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), our primary responsibility is to provide support and guidance to the Premier and Cabinet to effectively deliver on the government's priorities, commitments, decisions, and objectives for the betterment of the community.
Policy Division plays a central role in addressing Queensland's key economic, environmental, social, community safety and justice policy issues. We work closely with Queensland Treasury and all Queensland Government departments and agencies to progress the government's strategic objectives.
How you'll contribute:
To join our dynamic team as a Senior Policy Officer and drive positive outcomes in a rewarding role in the Law and Justice Policy team at DPC. You will participate in the development and implementation of strategic policies, provide expert advice to senior leaders and contribute to impactful decision-making processes. This is an exciting opportunity to shape public policy, influence change, and make a meaningful impact in our community.
What you'll bring to the role:
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate substantial knowledge, skills and experience in the policy development processes, including the provision of strategic analysis, insights and options on key law and justice policy initiatives to deliver on the governments priorities.
