Established in 1930, Kallangur State School has a long history of providing quality education for all students. We provide education for students from Preparatory to Year Six. With the motto of 'We Strive to Attain', students are supported to be responsible learners, who set, and achieve learning goals within the Australian Curriculum.

As a Digital Pedagogy Coach at Kallangur State School, you will lead the Technologies faculty. Additionally, you will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:

Contributing to, participating in and assisting with:

The development of whole school digital pedagogy
The development and implementation of a suite of professional learning strategies to support teachers to demonstrate digital pedagogy in all curriculum areas
Leading the innovative use of technology to enrich learning experiences and assessment
Leading the innovative use of technology to improve student engagement and outcomes
The development of extra curricula technology projects
The curriculum leadership and management of a whole school approach to the development, implementation, assessment and reporting of the Technologies curriculum
The provision of feedback to the administration team on the effectiveness of digital technology initiatives, Technologies curriculum programs and pedagogy
The identification and delivery of professional development needs of the school in relation to the Technologies curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and reporting
The development of Technologies unit plans
The delivery of digital pedagogy in classrooms.

Liaising with:

Other key personnel to assist teachers in ensuring the learning needs of all students are addressed
Administration, teachers and teacher aides on digital pedagogy and Technologies curriculum issues
The community and external personnel to enhance Technologies curriculum and pedagogical development

 

Applicants for these positions must possess:

  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. For more information regarding registration requirements, please Click here.
  • In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services.
