Advisor (Office of the Deputy Director-General)

In this role, you will provide support and advice in relation to a range of strategic and operational divisional activities, as well as providing direct support to the Deputy Director-General (Corporate), Principal Advisor and key stakeholders within TMR. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders within the division, department and other organisations.

About the Team
The Office of Deputy Director-General (Corporate) is a dynamic team responsible for supporting the Deputy Director-General (Corporate) and key stakeholders across TMR in delivering Government, departmental and divisional objectives.
About the Role
Some of your accountabilities will include:
• Consult, liaise and maintain effective relationships with intern and external stakeholders to resolve issues, provide advice and develop recommendations to support the effective operations of the division.
• Assist with the coordination of boards, committees and working groups concerned with developing, coordinating, and implementing policies, processes or projects consistent with the division's business plan, and the department's strategic direction.
• Apply project management principles when managing activities and identify and report potential delays, risks and issues to Principal Advisor.
• Support the coordination of business planning and performance, corporate reporting, risk management and audit implementation reporting activities and other various reporting required, as guided by the Principal Advisor.
• Develop, lead, implement and review ongoing continuous improvement activities directly related to services led and/or provided by the ODDG.
• Ensure public sector legislation, standards, policies, practices and procedures relating to human, financial and physical resources are met and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements of the Role:

• Demonstrated ability to deliver activities, project or policy outcomes, with an emphasis on meeting deadlines within quality, cost and time constraints.
