As the Learning & Development Officer, you will:
- Research, design, develop and evaluate training programs and resources, for Smart Service, leveraging contemporary, evidence-based learning techniques, including online and blended learning strategies, that also accommodates the needs of remote or hybrid workforce and support the organisation's ongoing growth and capability.
- Facilitate and deliver engaging training programs, to Smart Service staff and client agencies, using a mix of in-person, virtual, and self-paced formats to enhance knowledge, skill development, and ensure quality and consistency in service delivery.
- Contribute to organisational development initiatives and service transition projects, across Smart Service, to support the drive for organisational change and facilitate growth.
- Monitor and conduct induction programs for Smart Service and communicate trainee's progress to internal stakeholders, to assist with the effective integration of staff into Smart Service's culture.
- Engage, consult, and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, to ensure training content and delivery is in line with business needs and quality service delivery outcomes.
To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrate expertise in contemporary training, learning and development principles and models, including familiarity with online learning management systems (LMS), digital tools, and virtual learning environments.
- Research, analyse and develop innovative and best practice training methods, including eLearning solutions to respond to evolving training needs within a dynamic organisation.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders that allow you to work collaboratively to contribute to the achievement of outcomes Display personal effectiveness through your ability to efficiently complete tasks that demonstrate the required standard of professionalism.
- Clearly and confidently structure written and verbal communication across various channels, including the facilitation and presentation of training programs.
