We are looking for a Manager (Identified) to join the First Nations Strategy team in this exciting and rewarding role.
This role will manage a small and dynamic First Nations Strategy team focused on embedding First Nations participation and perspectives across the organisation. It will also involve engagement with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
In this role you will:
• Manage and support the First Nations Strategy team including the development of work plans to deliver strategic priorities and programs of work on time and within budget.
• Develop, lead and implement strategies and projects, facilitating collaboration across QSA to achieve quality outcomes.
• Prepare meeting papers for distribution to QSA's First Nations Advisory Group and support the Director First Nations Strategy and Queensland State Archivist in undertaking actions items.
• Develop key documentation, including strategy and engagement plans, to support the teams objectives and priorities.
• Coordinate and report on the collection, analysis, and reporting of key statistics and responses to requests for advice and information, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and relevance to organisational needs
• Research and prepare complex reports, ministerial correspondence, submissions, briefing notes and correspondence on a range of corporate issues.
• Represent QSA on committee and working groups and provide advice related to First Nations Strategy program of work.
• Build and maintain networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Undertake any other duties as directed by the Director.
