The Senior Program Officer assists with the development, implementation and coordination of quality systems, procedures/standards and service delivery framework.
The Senior Program Officer provides accurate information, advice and support in financial, human resource, performance reporting and business management.

• Managing reporting mechanisms for a large number of cost centres and preparing budgets, forecasts, and estimates ensuring adherence to relevant Acts,
Regulations and Departmental delegations, policies and procedures.
• Lodging claims, invoice and debtor management.
• Developing, managing and implementing work plans that support the effective delivery of services relevant to the business unit.
• Providing high level advice and direction in relation to service initiatives.
• Liaising with government agencies and non-government stakeholders to obtain information and deliver and maintain quality services.
• Undertaking research and providing advice to senior management and staff.
• Preparing a range of written materials including correspondence, briefing material, emails and procedures concerned with the initiatives delivered by the
business unit.
• Developing and maintaining systems for the effective monitoring and review of policy and programs which are the responsibility of the business unit.
• Recognising and contributing to the Governance Structure, supporting quality outcomes for staff and participants through the delivery of quality services and continuous improvement
