Your new opportunity:
Join the Queensland Treasury as the Director of Technical Solutions on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension, within the Information Services division. In the role you will drive strategic direction, plan architecture, manage cloud operations and lead cybersecurity measures, aligning your work with our business objectives.

In this role, you will:
• Lead technical specialists, fostering their development and ensuring effective outcomes.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, coordinating with business representatives and IS Management Team.
• Assist the CIO in strategic planning, reassessing to align with Treasury and government strategies.
• Ensure infrastructure management meets service, data integrity, security and performance standards.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring projects meet quality, time, and cost standards.
• Develop and maintain a program that supports Treasury's Information Security Management System.

What experience you will bring:
• Proven knowledge and experience in technology and customer service management strategies.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and delivery.
• Experience in resource planning to meet business deliverables.
• Proven stakeholder engagement skills.
• A record of driving a culture of continuous business improvement and promoting innovation.

Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
