Senior Conservation Officer

Part Time opportunity, working up to 51 hours per fortnight.
This position sits within the Marine Permits Team and is responsible for assessing applications for authorities in accordance with relevant State legislation associated with use and access of the of the State marine parks (Moreton Bay Marine Park, Great Sandy Marine Park, and Great Barrier Reef Coast Marine Park). The main focus of this role is undertaking environmental impact assessments, client and stakeholder negotiations, problem solving, site supervision, permits compliance and use of GIS and systems applications to ensure sustainable use consistent with management objectives.
