Executive Manager Intelligence

The Executive Manager, Intelligence is responsible for leading the collection, analysis, and dissemination of critical information to support strategic decisionmaking within the SOCC. This role ensures the timely delivery of accurate situational awareness, risk assessments, and forward-looking intelligence products to inform operational planning and service delivery during both routine operations and emergency events. The Executive Manager also oversees the integration of information from multiple agencies and stakeholders, maintaining a common operating picture and enabling coordinated, evidence-based responses to emerging incidents. This role is accountable for designing and enhancing systems to improve the coordination centre's intelligence and decision-support functions, as well as building the capability of personnel through mentoring, training, and development.

We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
• Expert leadership skills with demonstrated capabilities and experience in managing the complex and diverse coordination of mission-critical environments.
• High level skills in communication, negotiation, consultation, and collaboration with the proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to drive and influence organisational change and reforms to make service delivery systems increasingly responsive and proactive, including ability to lead and inspire diverse, professional teams, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Providing superior intelligence and analysis in a mission-critical environment that operates within an Incident Management System (IMS), and to implement governance and integrity in this process.
• Detailed knowledge and ability to rapidly analyse intelligence and data to identify issues affecting service delivery with a proven ability to apply relevant resource management principles to support the provision of high-quality pre-hospital patient care to the Queensland community.
• Demonstrated expert analytical and critical thinking skills to contribute to the development, implementation, and review of operational plans, policies, standards, local work practices and service improvement initiatives.
• Experience in data analysis and business intelligence including the ability to convey technical information with non-technical audiences.
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
• Whilst not mandatory, a tertiary qualification in Business Intelligence, Health Services Administration, or a related field will be highly desirable.
• This position may require participation in additional hours or overtime during critical incident periods.
