Role details
The Psychology Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Psychology Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
To contribute to consumer care by undertaking clinical support tasks delegated under the supervision of a psychologist. The role supports Psychologists in their day-to-day clinical and operational duties, to optimise consumer outcomes.
About the Team
The Psychology Department forms part of the Allied Health Division delivering a range of high-quality psychosocial services to consumers whose medical care and treatment is being provided through the Hospital and Health Service.
The Psychology Clinical Assistant role works within a delegated model. In the context of direct consumer contact. The Psychology Clinical Assistant works under the direct instructions of a psychologist, with clearly established tasks.
