Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the development and implementation of a cutting-edge construction program scheduling function. This senior role will oversee the creation of a master schedule for a large portfolio of infrastructure projects and maintenance programs across the state, driving efficiency, innovation and excellence in delivery.

As a seasoned professional in construction program scheduling, you'll collaborate with project and maintenance teams to build a master schedule that can be maintained with ease, providing data extraction and reporting functionalities. Your expertise will be instrumental in advising on the delivery and sequencing of planned infrastructure activities, ensuring that our operations are aligned with strategic objectives and optimized for success.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Developing and maintaining the Infrastructure Master Plan and Schedules for works packages.
Collaborating with project and maintenance teams to depict planned timelines for future works.
Identifying critical paths, inter-dependencies, and efficiency opportunities to optimize resourcing and workflows.
Tracking progress, identifying trends, and maintaining the Command's 'single point of truth' schedule

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL NEED:

Significant experience in infrastructure construction and maintenance planning, programming principles, and methodologies.
Extensive experience using program planning software to establish and deploy master and sub-project plans/schedules.
Exceptional analytical, innovative problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
High computer and MS Office literacy, accompanied by strong written, presentation and verbal abilities.
