The Manager, Cabinet Services will be responsible for developing and providing quality and timely advice on Cabinet and Cabinet Committee matters to the Premier, the Director-General and Executive Management team. The Manager will lead the Cabinet Services team to ensure that whole-of-government Cabinet and Cabinet Committee business is carried out in accordance with the Queensland Cabinet Handbook and the established processes and conventions to meet the needs of the Premier, Cabinet, Ministers, Directors-General and Cabinet Secretary.

The position will report to the Director, Cabinet and Cabinet Legislation and Liaison Officer (CLLO) and support the coordination of key tasks within the Cabinet and Cabinet Committees space, ensuring smooth operations and providing high quality support for Cabinet and Cabinet Committee processes.

This position requires strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail and an understanding of the Cabinet Services team and their operations.

The successful applicant will be able to effectively engage critical stakeholders, identify gaps and apply workable solutions. They will be able to drive forward planning and continuous improvement across business processes. The successful applicant will also work closely with the Director to manage personnel matters and support team members' professional development.

This role is not for everyone, some days can be highly pressurised working to meet tight deadlines and managing a range of stakeholders. However, this is a permanent opportunity in a unique role where you will lead a highly supportive and experienced team.
