Numinbah Correctional Centre is a female low security correctional centre located on 770 hectares of farmland in the Gold Coast Hinterland. Numinbah Correctional Centre is set at the base of Binna Burra Mountain with some of the Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walks located nearby. Located only forty (40) kilometres from the Gold Coast it provides a peaceful surrounding only a short drive from the Gold Coast Tourist attractions. Numinbah Correctional Centre accommodates up to 161 women, and at times children of the women.

The centre also incorporates farming and agricultural work into it programs that includes farm animals, including cattle, sheep, and horses, and the surrounding native wildlife. Successful candidates would expect to broaden their skills and abilities as a supervisor in this unique facility. Staff at Numinbah Correctional Centre at all levels are presented daily with career growth opportunities due to the low custody correctional centre being located on farmland where the requirement for a greater focus on dynamic security and offender rehabilitation, while preparing women to transition to the community.
