The Enterprise Applications Developer is a key role reporting to the Executive Manager – ICT Database Management with responsibility for the enhancement and development of applications to support the ICT business requirements of the QAS.
The Enterprise Applications Developer will develop technical documentation to assist with the development, improvement and maintenance of enterprise/corporate business applications. The role is responsible for researching, reviewing, evaluating and developing ICT solutions that contribute to the achievement of QAS business objectives and key performance indicators.

We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- Proven well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills to develop, review and implement effective ICT enterprise applications in line with business requirements and priorities.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Oracle and SQL Server database environments and experience in the development of business appropriate applications using Rapid Application Development Tools such as Oracle Application Express, including a knowledge of best practice in application management.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders, and the proven ability to consult, negotiate and advocate persuasively on behalf of the QAS to achieve desired outcomes.
- Experience in writing and reviewing technical documentation, including the proven ability to contribute to the development of procedures, methodologies, standards, templates and policy documentation.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team in a program environment with competing priorities, specified deadlines and limited resources.
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
- Whilst not mandatory, possession of relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification/s will be highly regarded.
