Key responsibilities
The purpose of the Senior Marketing Advisor role is to support the coordination and implementation of successful public transport marketing strategies, effectively leverage new and existing products, services and the Translink brand to grow patronage and achieve mutually agreed commercial objectives.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Deliver branding activities including research, strategy development, collateral updates, policy and process development to promote and ensure the consistent application of the Translink brand in market.
• Prepare and implement strategic marketing and brand activities to be applied across advertising, digital, social, direct and retail in conjunction with team members.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including service providers, industry, members of the public and different levels of government to ensure Translink Division is achieving its goals.
• Oversee the management of collateral and content development to support brand and marketing activities.
• Manage external agencies, ensuring deliverables are implemented and managed on time and to budget.
• Apply customer market insights and identify industry trends to guide and improve marketing efforts.
• Support the management of Translink's brand presence across all touchpoints and enhance Translink's brand value.

Mandatory qualifications and conditions
• Relevant qualifications and/or industry experience is essential.
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
Highly desirable
• Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, public relations, media or a related field.
• Knowledge and understanding of brand and marketing theory and practice.

Requirements of the role
• Prioritises projects and tasks efficiently, in line with team commitments; Seeks and shares customer feedback to support the refinement of planned activities.
• Demonstrates flexibility to changing expectations by proactively adapting own approach to reflect new requirements; Actively participates in change engagement activities and openly supports the intended outcomes.
• Listens attentively and proactively seeks to understand others' needs by asking questions and clarifying; Builds rapport and establishes strong and mutually beneficial connections.
• Welcomes challenges in the delivery
