The Road Use Intelligence team is a part of Engineering and Technology branch. The team focuses on road safety data including road crash, licensing, infringement and registration data. As the Senior Advisor you will enable evidence-based decision making by providing expert advice and data products to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. The Road Use Intelligence team is a part of Engineering and Technology branch.
The team focuses on road safety data including road crash, licensing, infringement and registration data. As the Senior Advisor you will enable evidence-based decision making by providing expert advice and data products to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. This role requires demonstrated capability with relational databases, spreadsheeting software, programming/scripting languages and building enduring professional relationships.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Perform data extraction, manipulation, analysis and reporting of driver, vehicle, infringement and road crash incident data in Queensland to enable evidence-based decision making in road safety.
• Prepare and deliver statistical information, visualisations and reports regarding road crash incidents, vehicle registrations, driver licensing and infringements.
• Draft and review complex correspondence, reports, briefing notes and other documents in accordance with departmental standards.
• Monitor data request workflow and provide support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
