About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to Provide a comprehensive range of operational support functions to Caboolture Hospital. Maintain a high-quality patient support and operational services which supports the commitments to the principles of patient focused care and quality management.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Ensure cleaning activities are completed safely, efficiently and documented correctly for audit and accreditation purposes.
- Regularly participate in cleaning audits (both scheduled and unscheduled) to ensure compliance with infection control standards and strategic operational service unit guidelines. Ensure cleaning tools are ready for compliance review.
- Maintain courteous and respectful interactions with patients, staff and visitors, including wayfinding and general support.
- Replace and replenish domestic supplies such as waste bags, paper towels, and toilet paper and hand soap as required, ensuring these items remain appropriately in use
- Maintain readiness to shift across functional areas such as cleaning, porterage, waste and support services at short notice.
