The AODS and Specialist Teams at the Mackay Community Health Centre is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Senior Clinician AODS Consult Liaison) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
This role will ensure that Alcohol and Other Drugs Services (AODS) have in place work practices that align to national, state and local policies and standards and in doing so focus on safety, quality and service improvement. This role will also function as a member of a multi- disciplinary AODS and will provide clinical leadership and direct service provision including a consultation liaison service to the Mackay Base Hospital.
About the Team
The Alcohol and Other Drugs and Specialists Team works individually and in group settings to provide ongoing mental health interventions. The team consists of: Early Psychosis Team, Older Persons Mental Health, Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team and Alcohol and Other Drugs Services.
