About the Role:
The Manager (Strategy & ODDG) is a newly established position which plays a critical role in providing strategic advice to the Deputy Director-General (DDG) of Translink on transport-related policies, organisational priorities, and strategic issues. This role also supports the efficient operation of the DDG office, to ensure seamless correspondence flow and stakeholder engagement across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a strategic advisor to the DDG and the Translink Executive Leadership Team (TELT) on transport-related projects, including strategy, risks/opportunities, organisational performance, and policy matters.
• Prepare communication and engagement materials, such as departmental briefing notes, submissions, and correspondence.
• Translate strategic business concepts into actionable plans to drive change and enable divisional priorities.
• Build and maintain strong networks with internal and external stakeholders, including other government agencies and the Minister's Office.
• Lead strategically by prioritising projects and tasks efficiently, adapting to change, and participating in change engagement activities.
• Commit to sound governance by adhering to policies and ensuring key work standards are met.
Mandatory Requirements:
• A criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment due to the sensitive nature of the role.
