An exciting permanent opportunity - we’re seeking a Principal Advisor (Learning and Development) to oversee the delivery of Regulatory, Compliance & Enforcement's (RC&E's) Learning and Development (L&D) Framework in a regulatory and front-line environment.

Based in Brisbane’s inner city, this flexible & full-time role offers the chance to oversee the L&D program, using project management principles and cross team collaboration to deliver effective and timely learning and development outputs and options, which will also underpin continuous professional development for all frontline and enabling RC&E staff.

In the role of Principal Advisor (Learning and Development), some of your responsibilities will include:
• Working closely with key stakeholders to identify the learning, development and technical training needs for RC&E and then work collaboratively to design and deliver training packages and sessions where required.
• Undertaking complex analysis and evaluation of emerging business risks, staff capability and skills gaps, behaviours that can be positive influenced through effective and forward-thinking learning, development, training initiatives.
• Partner with relevant LTSR and RC&E Managers to ensure legislation, policy, procedures and RC&E strategy are incorporated into the RC&E Learning and Development Framework, and associated training packages to deliver effective outcomes.
• Providing high-level advice and business insights, reporting to the RC&E Leadership team on L&D delivery, prioritisation and challenges including evaluation of learning, development and training packages for effectiveness, proposed improvements, and innovative and forward-thinking solutions.
• Monitor project milestones, proactively address obstacles, and ensure successful project, and training delivery.
