The role of the Administration Officer is to contribute to the provision of effective, high quality financial, human resource and business support to Youth Justice.

This role is designated as Regulated employment as the position provides support services to children and young people, and therefore will require a valid Blue Card to be linked with the organisation prior to starting. As Administration Officer, you will specifically:
- Demonstrate cultural capability and/or a commitment to developing cultural capability to ensure an inclusive culture that aligns with the Human Rights Act 2019 and supports departmental programs and community partnerships aimed at preserving cultural connections for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Provide timely, high quality advice and support to Youth Justice in relation to financial, human and physical resources and activities Provide support and on-the-job mentoring to trainees.
- Provide administrative coordination and support in relation to Youth Justice activities, including record keeping, planning forums, program development, management activities and quality reports and correspondence.
- Maintain effective administrative systems in Youth Justice, including systems relating to asset management, financial, human resource, performance reporting and business processes.
- Liaise with internal and external clients and stakeholders in relation to inquiries relevant to Youth Justice.
- Allocate, prioritise and perform tasks in accordance with departmental procedures and financial and administrative delegations.
- Participate productively and collaboratively as a member of a team in delivering support and services to clients.
