An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse Coach to join the Department of Emergency Medicine at Nambour General Hospital. In this advanced practice role, you will lead and deliver person-centred care while supporting the professional development of staff and students. Working within the Clinical Coach Framework, you will provide point-of-care education, promote evidence-based practice, and foster a strong learning culture across adult and paediatric emergency care. Key Responsibilities include:

• Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being understand to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
• Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) – State 2015 – Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 6, Band 1 and the Queensland Public Service values.
• Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
• Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.

Remuneration value up to $48 803 p.a., comprising salary rates $54.44 - $58.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (part time position, 24 hrs p.f.).
