• Provide technical advice and support to ensure the effective and efficient coordination of statutory processes under the State Development and Public Works Organisation Act 1971 and Strong and Sustainable Resource Communities Act 2017.
• Prepare or contribute to preparation of briefs, correspondence, reports, policy papers, and other documents.
• Participate as a member of multidisciplinary teams to facilitate, coordinate and deliver project outcomes for complex, large-scale development proposals including resolution of policy issues, undertaking assessment processes and undertaking public consultation.
• Assist and participate in consultation and negotiation with local, state and Commonwealth government agencies, community groups and proponents, to inform major project delivery, strategic planning and infrastructure policy.
• Provide high level project delivery and administrative support to project teams through developing and implementing effective administrative processes and business improvement initiatives and contributing to maintaining the division's operational reporting systems.
• Organise the procurement and management of consultants undertaking studies to support project delivery.
• Represent the Department as required in meetings and forums, and establish effective and positive relationships across the Office, department, government and with stakeholders.
