Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist advice to the Regional Director and assist the Regional Program Manager in ensuring the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP) development and management aligns with government priorities and regional outcomes.
- Monitor financial and physical progress of project and program delivery against established performance indicators, including governance, and recommended corrective actions at the regional level.
- Undertake the role of regional governance lead of program and project management business systems; influence internal stakeholders to adopt a common approach to program and project health reporting and analysis to improve program and project governance, knowledge sharing and the re-use of information.
- Undertake project reviews in conjunction with regional officers to audit governance compliance and state wide consistency with the established project and program management processes and systems.

- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
Requirements of the role:
- Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing expectations, develop and evaluate options to mitigate risks and make thoughtful decisions under pressure.
- Ability to apply sound governance and operate within legislative and policy frameworks that guide TMR's everyday practice.
- Demonstrated experience in positive engagement and effective collaboration and consultation with internal and external stakeholders to solve problems and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- A solutions-focused mindset that is always looking for ways to improve systems, processes, and service delivery.
- Desirable: Experience in program management reporting, analysis and use of project and program systems, and extensive exposure to and experience in program / project management, preferably with large infrastructure programs.
- Desirable: Qualification and/or experience in Program Management, P3O and/or Managing Successful Programs (MSP).
- Desirable: A current “C” class driver licence.
