The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for:
- Providing intelligence support, direction and input to CCC Crime Investigations
- Participating in operational intelligence activities and intelligence projects
- Identifying operational and strategic intelligence opportunities
- Identifying and monitoring suitable sources of information
- Preparing collection plans and researching targeted areas, including collecting, collating and analysing information
- Preparing complex intelligence reports and providing written and oral briefings
- Developing and maintaining intelligence liaison networks
- Mentoring, training, and assisting in the professional development of intelligence staff
Please note: Possession of tertiary qualifications (3 year bachelor degree) relevant to the role (e.g. such as social science, justice, law, criminology or psychology) is a requirement.

About you
For this role, we will consider the below accountabilities:
- Extensive experience in strategic and/or operational intelligence within a law enforcement or similar agency
- Highly developed critical thinking and analytical skills and demonstrated expertise related to the intelligence discipline
- Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding and developing other intelligence practitioners in this environment
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills and proven experience communicating with influence and negotiating confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work positively in a team environment by managing expectations, building collaborative relationships and navigating interpersonal differences
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to take personal responsibility for managing workloads and priorities to achieve results and support the strategic direction of the organisation
