The Senior Adviser EPMO will have dual responsibility to:
- support the administration and day-to-day management of a Portfolio Project Management Tool (PPM), and
- work closely with the Principal Analyst, EPMO, to help with Portfolio Reporting and wider reporting frameworks.

About the Team:
As the Senior Adviser, EPMO you will be joining the Portfolio Delivery Group as a key player in supporting, planning and delivering on QCS' portfolio and reform agenda.
The Portfolio Delivery Group is the key business function to ensure the Transformation Office is connected to the broader QCS organisation and the initiatives that sit within it. This Group leads and maintains reporting, provides the overarching governance to individual programs and projects, assists QCS in assessing and managing new initiatives through the Transformation Office and supports program and project delivery teams to deliver outcomes.
About You:
As a suitable candidate, it is essential that you have:
- Demonstrable experience in interpreting and using Portfolio, Project Management methodologies and software (PPM) as well as a sound understanding of project plans, schedules, variance and risk management
- Proven experience to develop, and deliver, training content for system (PPM) implementation across multiple channels, to a wide audience in varying geographic locations
- Solid experience in similar role, ideally within a multi-project delivery, complex operational environments
- Evidenced competency, sound judgement and confidence to manage various and competing PPM administration and reporting functions within a dynamic project delivery environment
- Evidenced capability identify and analyse emerging or current trends, variances, risks and issues as this relates to PPM data and/or project delivery, and write these into project updates or reports in consultation with EPMO and/or Project Managers.
- High level interpersonal and engagement skills that build and maintain productive, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders up to senior levels.
- Proven self-starter and team member with high calibre organisation and follow up skills, exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, able to work under pressure, and ensure task completion to timeframes, quality and governance.
- Given QCS' geographic footprint, the ability to travel (infrequently and possibly for short periods of time) may be required for this role.
- In depth MS Office skills including Power BI, advanced xlsx, PowerPoint, template management, electronic filing maintaining version control.
Qualifications, professional registration, conditions and other requirements:
- Formal qualifications or studies in a Project Management, Prince 2, or similar are highly desirable.
- Certification in Power BI or similar will be very well received
