This role provides support to the multiple functions of the DLGWV Program Management Office.

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Department of Local Government, Water and Volunteers, Program Management Office. As the Program Support Officer within the Program Management Office, you will be a member of a fast paced, progressive, and fun team that works collaboratively to achieve program objectives. As a newly formed team, together we have the opportunity to build a strong foundation, test out innovative ideas and be creative in how we can achieve high quality outcomes together.
About the Role
• Maintain the Rural Water Futures (RWF) Program schedule, draft program reports and assist in updating program risks, issues, actions, dependencies and decision registers.
• Manage general administration systems, corporate management systems and office processes.
• Carrying out administrative procedures associated with the RWF broader organistional unit, including support to key stakeholder relationships and priority projects.
• Establish and maintain professional networks with internal and external stakeholders by keeping an open and effective line of communication.
• Provide effective administrative support in relation to the operations of the business unit such as resourcing, financial and operational service support.
Additional Role Requirements include:
• Travel to the away from home office location may be required.
