Insurance Services Officer

We are looking for an Insurance Services Officer to support the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme including receipting premiums, issuing, cancelling, amending, and maintaining policies, and processing insurance searches and related requests. You’ll also assess policy submissions, investigate premium debts, review documentation for compliance, and ensure data accuracy across internal systems and third-party databases.

Key Outcomes and Accountabilities
- Assess, investigate and process requests for home warranty insurance policy amendments, cancellations, revocation of cover, transfers, and refund premium in accordance with the Queensland Building Construction Commission (QBCC) Act 1991 and the QBCC Regulation 2018, including preparation of related correspondence
- Undertake administrative functions related to the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme for the QBCC including but not limited to collecting home warranty insurance premiums and the issuing or reissuing of policy documentation to builders, contractors, homeowners and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare policy related reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Investigate, assess and verify third-party documents and databases in order to ensure data integrity when creating new sites, retitling existing sites and updating site information.
