Your key accountabilities

The core capability requirements for this role are:

  • Assist, either individually or as a member of a team, in the extraction of data from digital devices.
  • Provide evidence, either in affidavit form or personally in Courts or other Tribunals.
  • Assist in the provision of oral and written briefings and procedural processes relevant to extraction of information from digital devices.
  • Assist in the identification, and development and facilitation of training programs in relation to digital evidence extraction.
  • Actively participate and contribute to the development and implementation of computer techniques to support Digital Evidence Hubs.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders and clients, and provide quality advice related to digital evidence extraction and processes.
  • Maintain computer systems and comply with procedural property management requirements to ensure continuity of evidence, including collection, storage and maintenance of digital devices.

Role Requirements

Mandatory

  • Possess a current Queensland class ‘C' drivers license.

Other

  • Applicants are advised that whilst performing the duties of the position they may be exposed to material (written, visual and audio) of a graphic and sensitive nature.
  • The successful applicant is required to successfully undertake and maintain all required internal courses to ensure qualified to operate the required equipment.
