Your ability to manage competing demands, foster collaboration, and drive innovative solutions will be key to your success in this role.

Every day is different, and so is every team within the department.

As our Executive Officer, you will:
• Provide timely and accurate advice to the Deputy Director-General, Corporate, executive leadership team and Business Manager on issues impacting the business group
• Lead and coordinate governance activities and reporting requirements on behalf of the business group, including audit recommendations
• Support the Business Manager in the management of the end-to-end processes of the annual budget, month end reconciliation and variance analysis, financial assurance and controls, reporting deliverables and responsibilities
• Manage the timely flow of, and provide input to, documents, written comments and feedback by the stated deadline on behalf of the business group. Examples could include but are not limited to Right to Information requests, sitreps, Governor's briefs, Premier's briefs, Committee recommendations
• Coordinate business group input into Parliamentary matters including Parliamentary briefs, Estimates briefs and Questions on notice
• Prepare correspondence and/or reports and deliver these on time.
• Build rapport and constructive working relationships with departmental staff at all levels of the organisation
• Work flexibly across the business group with staff of the Corporate executive and corporate support teams to support the needs of the Business Group as required
