Role details
The Pharmacy Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Pharmacy Intern to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
Participate in the provision of pharmacy services within the Mackay HHS, within a learning environment under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, where experience, skills and understanding of hospital pharmacy practice can be gained by the graduate to complete requirements for registration as a pharmacist at the end of the required training period.
About the Team
Our Pharmacy Service is based at the Mackay Base Hospital and provides patient centred pharmacy services, seven days a week. Our pharmacy provides medication on hospital prescriptions for use while patients are in hospital.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
