Role details
The Finance Management at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Asset Accounting Manager to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
Reporting to the Director, Financial Accounting, the Asset Manager is responsible for coordinating the asset and general ledger accounting processes for Mackay Hospital and Health Service (MHHS). This is a highly visible role within the organisation providing exposure to senior management and a range of internal and external stakeholders.
About the Team
Finance Management consists of Financial Accounting, including Revenue, Assets and Management Accounting. The team provides routine and ad-hoc information, analysis and advice for various stakeholders such as the Executive, service directors, business managers and clinicians.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
