The purpose of the Senior Engineer – Standards, Research and Training is to lead research and development in road planning and design, contribute to road design and safety barrier standards, including Austroads and Australian Standards, and support the delivery of technical training. Mandatory requirements:
• A Washington Accord accredited four-year degree in Engineering or equivalence recognised by Engineers Australia.
• A Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) in Civil Engineering is mandatory for appointment to the position.
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
