Role details
The Allied Health Hinterland team are seeking applications for an Allied Health Rural Generalist (Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist) to join their team on a temporary basis. The position can be based at any of the Hinterland Facilities - Clermont, Dysart or Moranbah.

Your opportunity
- To work as a member of a multidisciplinary & trans-disciplinary Allied Health team, delivering clinical services to clients in the Mackay HHSs Hinterland, covering a range of clinical conditions, complexity and age groups.
- This rural generalist position operates within a Professional Skill-Sharing and Delegation model of care by providing and participating in supervision and training in the use of skill-shared and delegated clinical tasks and by delivering an expanded scope of clinical practice.
- The team provide clinical care in person, via tele-heath and outreach throughout the Mackay HHS Hinterland. In certain circumstances overnight accommodation may be necessary.
About the Team
The Allied Health Hinterland Team provides clinical care in person, via tele-heath and outreach throughout the Mackay HHS Hinterland which encompasses Dysart, Clermont & Moranbah.
Allied Health Assistants are utilised at each site through delegation. By delegating safely and effectively, clinicians work to the top of their scope, thereby optimising patient centred care, workforce capacity and service outcomes. In certain circumstances overnight accommodation may be necessary.
