In this role, you will coordinate and manage the processing of dealings under the Land Valuation Act 2010, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and directives, while prioritising workloads to meet established targets and deadlines. You will provide expert advice to both internal and external clients on interpreting the Act and related departmental procedures, systems, and practices. You'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting information systems such as the Land Asset Management System (LAMS), ensuring technical and administrative functions meet audit requirements. Promoting operational improvement will be a key focus, as will contributing to the refinement of procedures when necessary. Strong communication is essential, as you will deliver clear written and verbal advice to a wide range of stakeholders, including departmental staff, other government agencies, and the public. Additionally, you will develop and manage business plans for your regional team, oversee the allocation of resources, and lead staff development initiatives to drive performance. Other duties may be assigned as
required.
What we're looking for:
• Knowledge of or the ability to acquire the knowledge of information and departmental database systems (QVAS, ATS, VG Maps, Microsoft Office Suite,
PowerBI) would be highly regarded.
• Previous work with legislation would be highly regarded.
• Travel outside normal working hours may be required.
