The Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team at the Mackay Community Health Centre is seeking applications for a Mental Health Clinician to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
The Mental Health Clinician provides high level clinical skills to ensure client-focused evidence-based care, plans and coordinates the clinical management of client care and provides leadership and support to other staff within the Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service Division (MHAODSD).
About the Team
Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service
The Mental Health and AOD Service is comprised of eight clinical teams across the MHHS. The Mental Health Service is responsible for the provision of comprehensive, specialised mental health assessment and treatment services across the age-spectrum for people with severe and complex mental health problems. Our services aim to be consumer focused and recovery oriented and are provided in a variety of settings including community, an acute inpatient unit, hospitals and emergency departments.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
