The role of Regional Recruiting Officer is located within QPS Recruiting, People Capability Command. QPS Recruiting provides high quality recruitment services to applicants who are wishing to join the Queensland Police Service as a police recruit.
The position reports directly to the Senior Sergeant, Principal Recruiting Officer. The Regional Recruiting Officer will be based in Brisbane Region and will be required to travel within the region as part of the role.

Your key accountabilities
The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Provide leadership, supervision, advice and support to staff.
- Provide advice and assistance to members of the community and organisations on recruitment policies and procedures within the Queensland Police Service.
- Supervise the duties/activities being undertaken in the attraction and/or integrity units within the Recruiting section and at recruiting events.
- Work effectively with a host of partners/service providers in the creation of specific results driven marketing initiatives and objectives.
- Plan, organise and/or participate in a range of attraction and selection activities.
- Train and/or mentor members of the Queensland Police Service to professionally undertake recruitment activities.
- Participate in the research, development and implementation of recruitment policies, procedures and strategies.
- Liaise with other members of the Queensland Police Service and other agencies and individuals as required.
