An AO8 Manager vacancy is available in the Governance & Business Support division of the Queensland Revenue Office.

You will work directly with internal and external stakeholders and operate with independence, autonomy, and co-operation in leading activities to meet client/stakeholder needs.

Your typical day as a Manager may include:
Leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team responsible for delivering key business support services to the Queensland Revenue Office (QRO), including mail services, records management, subscriptions, stationery and facilities support. 

Actively managing QRO's record management function ensuring best practice and robust compliance with legislative and other regulatory requirements. 

Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business continuity, responsiveness and achievement of service standards. 

Providing sound, well presented advice to the Director and senior leaders on branch and service performance, compliance issues, risks and operational efficiencies, both verbally and in writing. 

Managing, coaching and mentoring team leaders and promote a commitment to integrity, client service, collaboration, accountability and achievement aligned with QRO's culture.  

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate relevant and recent experience across the following:
• High level of interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to lead teams, coach staff, collaborate effectively and communicate with influence.
• Knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, relevant records management legislation and frameworks. 
• Experience in leading service delivery improvements, with a focus on client needs and compliance.
