Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Managing project governance activities including Steering Committee secretariat duties and reviewing and updating various governance forums terms of reference and decision registers.
• Preparing high quality executive correspondence including briefing papers, information packs, and funding submissions.
• Supporting the project leadership team with managing interfaces with related projects including reviewing governance papers for interfacing projects.
• Providing advice and ensuring compliance with corporate governance obligations, standards, and legislation.
• Managing project assurance activities including Queensland Treasury and TMR gateway assurance processes.
Requirements of the role
• Demonstrated experience working within governance frameworks within a project/ program environment. Leading implementation of governance activities.
• Builds and maintains productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Communicates in a way that is appropriate for the situation, and that promotes trust, respect, and integrity.
• Manages conflict and negotiates outcomes without compromising relationships.
• Provides advice and makes decisions that are rigorously considered and supported by a clear rationale. Looks beyond the obvious and persists with analysis and solutions. Makes timely decisions.
• Breaks down projects into objectives and goals, and accurately scopes out length and difficulty of tasks. Provides clear and accurate reporting of progress and performance.
