The responsibilities and duties undertaken by the role include, but are not limited to:
- The development, implementation, and advancement of QRIDA's digital strategy and associated projects (including implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) opportunities, automation, and business process mapping) and road maps, ensuring it is aligned to the QRIDA Strategic Plan and direction.
- Participate as an active member of QRIDA's Senior Leadership Team in formulating and implementing strategic policy and setting organisational direction in supporting the Executive Leadership Team, and ensuring timely preparation, accuracy, and quality of policy advice, QRIDA Board papers and reports, project plans, business cases, presentations, briefings and correspondence on QRIDA information management and matters concerning the DIS team's responsibilities.
- Develop and accurately manage the financial performance of the DIS team, including investment in technology to achieve strategic goals and direction.
- Guide QRIDA's adoption and use of data analytics for operational and strategic reporting that will assist QRIDA with day-to-day operational decision making as well as providing actionable insights that underpin setting longer term strategic directions.

The Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) is a specialist provider of government financial and advisory support to rural and regional Queensland.
As a statutory body of the Queensland Government we have been helping primary producers and industry recover from natural disaster, improve sustainability and profitability, make a start in business, and overcome difficult conditions, for more than 30 years.
As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government's Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Natural Resources and Mines, Minister for Manufacturing, and Minister for Regional and Rural Development.
QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1994 to deliver additional programs and services across a range of industry sectors and to local, state and territory governments throughout Australia and for the Australian Government.
