Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Develop, maintain, analyse and interpret detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
• Identifying critical path activities and liaising with appropriate project team members to flag risks and responses.
• Interfacing with high performing teams and contributing insights over risks and issues that may impact on a project's schedule.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues, providing advice to the Manager (Projects) and the Program Director.
• Prepare and present schedule reports, including critical path analysis, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Conduct regular schedule reviews and update project plans as necessary, ensuring that schedules for projects within the ETCS program are aligned with those of the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program and the Logan to Gold Coast Faster Rail projects.
• Ensure compliance with project scheduling standards and best practices.
• Provide input, updates and reporting on the ETCS program schedule to a variety of stakeholders within the Department.
• Assist in the development of project control procedures and tools.

Requirements of the role:
• Demonstrated experience and ability using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
• Skilled in building successful partnerships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to support compliance with mandated document control systems.
• Experience and knowledge of managing schedules within a major project environment.
• Ability to identify potential scheduling issues and recommend corrective measures.
• Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to support interactions with team members and a variety of stakeholders across related projects.
• Experience working within a complex Rail Systems Planning environment would be an advantage.
