In the role of Senior Planner (Rail Service Specification), you will plan for and help deliver rail public transport service improvements in South East Queensland (SEQ).
You will operate as part of a dynamic, customer focused team dedicated to quality outcomes aligned with both Queensland Government objectives and industry best practice.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Develop high-quality concept train plans that result in modally integrated timetable changes across SEQ, including supporting the opening of Cross River Rail.
• Assess and evaluate rail service change options using data to recommend customer focussed service priorities within operational constraints while ensuring value for money outcomes.
• Analyse data and create visualisations to communicate customer and operational trends and patterns to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Undertake technical reviews of major rail planning projects to ensure infrastructure outcomes maximise benefits for our customers.
• Provide advice on transport planning matters to support high-level decision making processes and contribute to the preparation of correspondence (Cabinet submissions, ministerial correspondence, customer concerns and briefing notes).
