The purpose of a Senior Intelligence Analyst is to be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, managing and analysing a diverse range of information - providing intelligence-led, targeted, and risk-based regulatory programs, and a proportionate enforcement response to non-compliance. This would support the Regulatory Compliance and Enforcement (RC&E) function of Transport and Main Roads (TMR).
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver on intelligence analysis capability and products by providing;
• Strategic intelligence to support TMR's RC&E practice, operational policy, operations and/or performance areas; and
• Operational intelligence to support TMR's regulatory compliance activities.
• Identifying emerging trends or patterns of non-compliance that pose a threat to strategic policy objectives and safe and efficient access to Queensland's land transport network. Develop business insights that monitor and advise on environmental risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to an evolving regulatory compliance and intelligence model by collaborating and engaging with business areas to understand and embrace change. Use intelligence and analytics in decision-making and service delivery.
• Preparing and disseminating valid, relevant, comprehensive, timely and defensible intelligence product to support evidence-based decisions and policy development.
• Co-ordination of inter-agency and/or cross jurisdictional sharing of information and collaborative development of targeted operations, where intelligence identifies specific risks/issues to be addressed.
• Support the delivery of the RC&E Learning and Development framework and products, by informing and delivering material that ensures staff are up to date with intelligence frameworks, practice and their role in regulatory analysis processes.
• Some intrastate travel may be required.
