Within a dynamic team you will play a key role in providing information and education to individuals in the community titles sector. You will also be required to respond to telephone enquiries through a call back service as well as responding to written correspondence on a daily basis in a high-volume environment. You will actively contribute to the communication strategy which includes, webinars, public seminars, writing articles for the e-newsletter, web writing and publishing.

Your key responsibilities

Provide information and community education to the clients and stakeholders on their rights and responsibilities under the 

  • Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 and the five associated regulation modules.
  • Building Units and Group Titles Act 1980 and 3 specified Acts

Respond to telephone and written enquiries in a high-volume environment.

Work independently to develop information and educational material for distribution including online training, fact sheets and article writing. 

Assist parties with resolving disputes themselves, through accurate information and reference to legislative provisions and other relevant sources, wherever possible without recourse to conciliation or adjudication. 

Present and attend public seminars, webinars, forums and meetings with peak bodies, stakeholders and other client groups, both public and private sector.

Write and publish content for the BCCM departmental website.

Write content and moderate the BCCM social media page

Provide feedback to management about the information and educational needs of clients.

Inform and coach staff in relation to the legislation and assist staff in other areas of the Office as directed.

Identify areas for operational improvement and assist in devising and implementing changes to office policies and procedures.
