As the Manager, you will lead the ongoing strategic uplift of the department’s governance system capability and performance that best enables efficient, effective and insightful governance practices.

Working closely with governance professionals, business, and corporate partners, you will leverage your ICT planning, architecture, and engagement skills to develop and support innovative technology solutions that integrate risk management, planning and performance measurement across corporate functional areas.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead the ongoing development, delivery and support of digital transformation for Strategy and Governance branch in alignment with the department's ICT governance frameworks, strategies, and latest technology roadmaps.
  • Provide leadership, expertise and training to build the digital capability and maturity of governance system users and practitioners.
  • Lead the development of detailed solution design, business requirements and end-to-end system process mapping to inform effective options analyses that ensures fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Develop common solution architecture that introduces synergies, efficiencies, and new insights through connecting governance system data sources, and data collection and reporting processes.   
  • Develop positive collaborative partnerships with corporate functional leaders, senior executives, system administrators and end users to ensure staff preparedness for new governance system adoption. 
  • Lead and advise on compliance to ICT security, privacy, and governance requirements for all information assets owned by Strategy & Governance Branch.
  • Lead the team in work planning, staff development and communication and maintain an optimistic outlook that fosters a positive workplace culture and promotes the psychological health and safety for staff and others.
