Senior Accommodation Officer

Operating from within the Accommodation Unit, you will deliver a broad range of office accommodation activities, projects and services. This includes policy and procedure development and review, lease management, capital and minor works related office fit-outs and refurbishments, office relocations, maintenance and coordination of site services (including cleaning, pest control, security, etc) at a range of CBD and regional locations throughout Queensland.

The Senior Accommodation Officer, (AO6) is a role in which you will:
- Build and sustain productive and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of accommodation related services and negotiated projects and activities including office fit-outs, refurbishments, relocations and lease management.
- Provide authoritative advice and lead the preparation and delivery of policies, project and communication plans, presentations, briefing notes, policies, procedures, reports and other correspondence to enable informed and effective decision making.
- Proactively manage lease arrangements, monitor trends and undertake critical analysis of accommodation issues to service existing and/or emergent accommodation requirements in alignment with departmental goals.

- Actively provide input into identifying and reviewing team operations to identify business improvements and efficiencies in delivery of accommodation projects, activities and services.
- Represent and advocate on behalf of the department at whole of government forums, building tenancy committees and working groups, related to delivery of accommodations related projects, activities and services.
- Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations peoples of Australia.
