In the role of Senior Engineer (Civil) within the Corridor and Land Management team you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the road corridor while managing third party projects within or adjacent to the corridor. Through the provision of extensive technical expertise, you will work as part of a team to ensure the effective management of the road corridor.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities required:
• Ability to provide professional engineering advice on technical issues related to development applications.
• Undertake technical assessment and design review of third-party activities, including engineering reports in the field of traffic, hydraulics, noise and pavement, within legislative timeframes.
• Ability to successfully manage networks and alliances of stakeholders and manage the expectations and issues of all parties.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification which is accepted by Engineers Australia.
• Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
