Role details
The Moranbah Hospital is seeking applications for an Operational Services Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
To provide Operational Services at Moranbah Health Service by proactively participating as a member of the operational services team and responsibly utilise human, financial and material resources in accordance with organisational goals, ensuring a cost-effective operational service focused on providing exceptional, patient centred care.
About the Team
Moranbah Health Service is located in the Isaac Regional Shire in the town of Moranbah, approximately 200km south-west from Mackay, a journey which takes approximately 2 ½ hours.
The Moranbah Health Service consists of Moranbah Hospital, Community & Allied Health, Mental Health & AODs services and Glenden Primary Health Care Centre. The Moranbah Hospital has a 12-bed acute inpatient facility and an emergency service. In addition, Specialist outpatients, Medical Imaging: X-ray and ultrasound, a range of Telehealth services and ambulatory care, including mental health, allied health, community and child health services are provided through these health facilities. It offers Health Practitioners the opportunity to experience a diverse range of clinical practice areas in a busy rural setting.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
