Role details
The Organisational Development at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Organisational Development Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
The purpose of this role is to lead the provision of specialist advice in the design and application of organisational development initiatives identified in MHHS strategies and by the organisation ensuring a customer focused, contemporary approach is adopted.
Working in collaboration with leaders and staff across the organisation, this role will be a strong contributor to the delivery of agency-wide strategic and engagement initiatives aligned with the People Division Operational Plan. This role will be responsible for the management and delivery of strategic projects and as a member of the People and Culture Organisational Development Team, the roles' short and medium-term focus will be aligned with organisational priorities that contribute to delivering on our strategic objective Inspired People.
About the Team
Mackay Hospital and Health Service People Division plays an integral role in the effective management of the people resources for our service. The Division takes the lead role in all matters human resources related and engagement of our most important asset – “our people”.
The People Division unit comprises approximately 32 human resource practitioners who provide a high quality, client focused and value adding human resource service to management and staff throughout the MHHS. The Division comprises of four teams: HR Services, Organisational Development, Recruitment and Work Health and Safety
The People and Culture Organisational Development Team focusses on the planning, development and implementation of strategies, practices, systems and initiatives that affect organisational change and aim to modify MHHS performance and culture through the involvement of its people.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
